Spring Is Almost Here

Obsessed

I don't know why I'm so in love with these magenta slingback pumps but late last night when I came across them, it was instant love. They are the perfect color, with the most lovely almond shaped toe, decent height and they're on sale! Sigh* so perfect!

Face Talk

Ok so I know by now everyone has heard of the Clarisonic Mia (and the price!) and everyone that is anyone who has used the Mia has continually raved about the texture and clearness of their skin.  So I have been searching for one on sale, but no luck there..

 I for one am NOT interested in paying $120 for one while in college. I'd rather spend that kind of money elsewhere, so I did! At Sephora for a fraction of the price ($18), the Ultimate Dual Exfoliating Face Brush is the solution.  And it has completely transformed my skin! I have huge pores on my cheeks closer to my nose and the pink silicone side of the brush has cleared them up so much they even appear smaller which is fan-tas-tic.  The brush side is great for all over the face and completely gets rid of all the oils/makeup/skin cells on your face. Also rubbing the brush in small circular motions helps with exfoliating all that stuff away.  I use it once a day at night for my combination/oily skin which is perfect. Twice daily is a bit to much, drying out my skin. 

While I was checking out Sephora's site today I stumbled upon this Pore Perfection kit which would be perfect for traveling or throwing in your bag for showers at the gym after a workout. I like how the brush and silicone pad are separated, making it easier to get those super hard to reach spots.  It's just as cheap as the brush at $18 a pop what's not to love?

Weekend Fun

This past saturday was sooo much fun! I had saturday off from work and decided to hit up the local outlet mall and see The Vow with Lo and Dev!  Basically making a girl's day out of it since it had been so long since we've spent time with each other.

I could not resist the cuteness of these sweet little striped bows, how adorable do they look??!  We all had a fantastic time catching upon each others lives while perusing the sales and after the movie.  Which by the way I heard was such a tear-jerker but the three of us did not shed one tear! Maybe we're just too cold hearted. Hah. But I do suggest going to see it, it's one of those movies that makes you believe in true love because (get this) it's based on a TRUE story!

Is anyone else tired of boots, the rain, and big chunky sweaters as much as I am?? I'm ready for cute spring flats, lots of color blocking, big sun hats and the HEAT. I've already found my fav spring nail polish color in Essie's Secret Story!

As always, I am ever so jealous of those of you who live in southern california this time of year! It's supposed to be a sunny 72 degrees out there today..

SKIRTing into spring

  

Just bought this gorgeous skirt in navy (not color pictured above) and cannot wait to break it out when the weather decides to stop being so schizophrenic. Oh, Texas.  I love the fact that it seamlessly transitions from day to night, and the scallop detailing on the waistband? Adorable!  I have a feeling this skirt will become a staple in my closet for years to come.
